To maximize the performance of this functionality, we have implemented limits on the ticket
information available. Please note that electronic data is only available for tickets issued on
or after 1/17/2016
and that meet at least one of the following additional criteria:
- There is a balance due for payment on the ticket or the case (a traffic case
refers to multiple tickets issued on the same traffic stop)
- There has been some activity on the ticket within three (3) months prior to the current date.
Activity includes, but is not limited to, the following: court date or court appearance;
entry of a court order; payment (full or partial); and/or filing a motion
- The ticket is scheduled for a court date in the future
If you cannot find your case or if you have a question, please call Traffic (312) 603-2000 for
tickets issued within the City of Chicago or call the Suburban District
in which the ticket is

The Electronic Notice (eNotice) option for traffic tickets is currently under development. Until the necessary programming has been completed, you will continue to receive any required notifications by postcard via the U.S. Postal Service.
